Learn to Use the Force – move objects, shoot marbles, and pick up metals with the power of electromagnetism!

Electromagnets are everywhere! They are a major component of vacuums and computer hard drives. But how do we make these magnetic forces work for us? How do we control their power?

Join UW-Madison staff and students to explore electromagnets, electricity, pathways to higher education and related career paths. Through Learn to Use the Force Kit youth will learn basic circuitry to create an electromagnet. Once tested the electromagnetic device will be modified into a marble shooter.
