MANUAL SALES

All manual sales will be done through the UW PAT Program. https://patstore.wisc.edu/secure/home  PLEASE NOTE:  No Manuals will be sold at County Extension office.

Manuals are $43 per book. Books are assigned to applicator, so each must have their own. Questions? Email patprogram@mailplus.wisc.edu or 608-262-7588.

Self-Study students:

1. Self-study students are those who elect to purchase the manual and study on their own then test with the participating County Extension Office or Pearson VUE. They DO NOT attend a training and there for are coded on the test as such. Self-study students have to pass the test with 70% or greater.
2. All those seeking certification or recertification have to purchase the manual through the UW PAT Program. See Manual sales above for more information. Retakes due to a recent failure (within 1 year) do not have to purchase the book again.
3. All those seeking certification or recertification have to take and pass the State of Wisconsin’s certification test in the category they have purchase the training materials for. Call the St. Croix County Extension office to schedule your test. 715-531-1937 or email laura.hinz@wisc.edu

Online General Farming Training:

2. Each individual will need to register and complete the training
3. Participants that complete the online training will receive a completion email with their name on it. This has to be presented to the test proctor to be codded as “attended a training.”
4. Participants will have 14 days to complete the training.
5. Pass grade 50%: Code the test 1000.

The Pierce County Extension office will offer a group ZOOM training followed by TESTING on the following date:
